Every kid I have ever met loves to build forts and tents. My kids are no exception. Landon recently started making his own fort by collecting Ashlyn's and his own pillows and bridging them between the couch and the coffee table. Then he has his perfect hideout.
At what point did our kids get so smart?!
My only problem with the fort is that Landon refuses to clean them up. I will ask him to clean it up and this results in him screaming bloody murder and throwing a fit. So last week after not cleaning up (again) I told Landon he could not make forts anymore.
On Saturday, Ashlyn and I were were out all day and Chris got to spend the day with Landon. Landon built a "fort" that day. At one point Chris told Landon to go play in his fort. Landon replied by saying "Oh I'm not allowed to make forts anymore, this is my smoke factory." Chris tried his best to stifle the laughter.
At what point did our kids get so smart?!
Here is Landon in his "smoke factory" - this one was unique, it had a skylight for him to peek out!
