WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! I CAN DRIVE!
Now that I got that out of my system, I want to thank you all for praying for me. I saw my neurologist today and he gave me the "green light" so I can drive again! He actually said I was "normal" now. Hahahaha! That has never been a word used to describe me but at this point I'll take it! The doctor said that 90-95% of people who go off medication and don't have a seizure within 90 days won't have any future seizures. After 180 days the percentage goes to 2%.
So I am allowed to resume normal activity. The doctor did say he would like me to limit freeway driving "just in case". He also said that if I am really tired or have had a bad flu or fever I should not drive for a couple of days. Sounds reasonable to me. I am just thankful that if I need to drive somewhere I can do it.
Thank you again for your prayers. Thank you to all of you who have offered rides to me and my children. It was greatly appreciated. God has truly sustained me throughout this entire ordeal. The 3 months of no driving went by a lot faster than I thought it would. I am so thankful to be off medication and feel like myself again!
