I am aware that it has been awhile since I have updated everyone on our life! We don't have anything really exciting going on. Just getting back into the swing of things now that everyone is back to school and work after the holidays.
The kids (and Mommy) were thrilled to finally get back to school. They were starting to get cabin fever with the freezing cold weather and rain. Landon asked almost every day during the two week break if TODAY was the day he got to go to school. When I told him no, he would ultimately say "It's not fair!" Such is life when you are three years old.
Ashlyn is enjoying being back at school as well. I am not sure if the excitement is being back at school or getting to model the new clothes she got for Christmas for her friends. We have finished reading two chapter books in the last two weeks. Ashlyn gets free books based on the amount of minutes she reads (or is read to) each month and she is counting the days until she gets to choose her free books. She said she is going to choose some more chapter books so we can read A LOT!
Chris is also back at work. We are so blessed with his job and for all the things God provides for us on a daily basis. Chris has also been running sound for our church and enjoys it very much. He is still cooking a lot and has found that is where he gets a big release from the stresses of the world.
I have been driving the kids around to and from school. I finished Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight saga, and LOVED every minute of it! I was so bummed that I finished them all.
