cousin day...

We recently got to celebrate our annual cousin day. It took some planning but we narrowed down a date & only a couple of us were missing. A great time was had by all, both first cousins...

and second cousins...



There was good food, old family stories that are always told, lots of laughter & s'mores...

Cousin day turned into a sibling day for me. Dominic spent the night & we took the next day to catch up, hike & just enjoy life. When you are growing up you see things from your own first-person narrative & it's interesting to hear what events were like from someone else's point of view. You can learn so much about someone by just sitting back & really listening to what they have to say. Dominic & I never run out of things to talk about & I am always left in awe of his perspectives on life.
