A list of thankfulness...
I am thankful for this little family of mine. Quirky, loud, hilariously weird and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I am thankful for this boy, his good health, his choice to get his strength from the Lord and his amazing attitude through adversity.

I am thankful for this man and how he shows his love for his family through his creation of delicious food.

I am thankful for fathers, for what they provide for their families and the privilege of hearing their laughter and conversation.

I am thankful that he shares my cheesy, goofy sense of humor.

I am thankful for this beautiful girl, her smile, her shared love of books, and her ability to go with the flow. Also, thankful for her adventurous appetite - she finally tried the smoked salmon Papa brought and loved it! She said she wished she had tried it sooner!

Thankful for this cuddly and loyal dog.

I am thankful for the athletic ability God has given him and he was thankful that daddy lowered the basketball hoop so he could dunk.

I am thankful for a home with warmth that isn't provided by any kind of heating element.

I am thankful for the ability to laugh after a year of difficulty and loss.

I am thankful for traditions, like our annual Thanksgiving walk.

I am thankful for all of the amazing and devoted friends that God has blessed us with and that Landon found some at the park who played football with him.

I am thankful for this girl's ability to climb even the highest tree and seeing the joy on her face when she is doing something that she loves.

I am thankful for the love of my mom, my mother-in-love and my stepmom.

I am thankful for the sun and its warmth, even in frigid temperatures.

I am thankful for little reminders of those we love, like the knife Craig gave to Chris to remind him of their shared love of cooking.

I am thankful for this amazing meal...

and believe me, it was truly mouth-watering.

As we all sat together after dinner and watched Elf my heart was so full of joy. I reflected on this year and how, although we lost another precious soul this year, I am so grateful to have had the privilege to know and love him. God has given us peace and comfort when we were hurting and provided family togetherness when He knew we would need it the most. I am so incredibly thankful for an all-knowing, loving Father who knows our every need and is so faithful to provide.

I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. God as given us so much to be thankful for so I will continue to praise Him for all things and in all circumstances.
