For the past two years when we have gone to the pumpkin patch it was hot and we ended up leaving feeling gross and sweaty. This year it was considerably cooler and a light breeze rustled through the trees.
We generally find a lot of beautiful (but pricey) pumpkins at the local pumpkin patch. This year we saw a lot of pumpkins but most of them were cracked, dented and bruised. So we took some fun pictures, bought some baby pumpkins and then headed to Trader Joe's where pumpkins are only $2.99. Much cheaper and much prettier.
I looked back on this picture and laughed out loud because I can see the mischief in his eyes. I think the goat saw it too...
Landon had been making "oinking" sounds at the pigs and this was his reaction after one of the pigs ran up to the fence where he was standing. He cracked up and shouted, "I called that pig and he came to me!" He always knows exactly how to make me laugh.
This girl...she is so very caring and tenderhearted. I am so blessed to call her my own.
Today I was reflecting a little on my life. I am thankful for so many things. God's provision and faithfulness. Family. Friends. Love and forgiveness. Blessed beyond measure.
Happy Monday!
