The kids have fallen back into their school routine with ease. They are thoroughly enjoying their Christmas presents and using every available free moment to play. Tea parties, Star Wars battles, Lego building (and breaking), doll changing and hair brushing...
(Daddy wanted documentation of the hours of labor that he put into building these LEGO Star Wars ships only to see them broken mere minutes later)
Basil has continued with her routine of rearranging the backyard. Her recent adventures include what she apparently thinks is a mobile home as her dog house is usually on the deck...and right side up.
I have found something that I am very excited about and will share more later. But until then a little preview...
In closing I would like to ask for your prayers. As many of you know Chris' younger brother Craig was diagnosed with a grade 5 Glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor almost seven years ago. He had surgery to remove as much of the tumor as they could and then endured chemo and radiation to combat the cancer. God has allowed him to beat the odds and live a full life seven years after his surgery which was unheard of by his doctors.
A recent MRI showed that the tumor was quickly growing and surgery is necessary again. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, January 20th.
And so we pray. We know that God is sovereign. He alone is in control. We praise Him for all things.

Ok. First things first. I hope that God shows himself mighty again through this round with this nasty tumor! I am praying for the doctors and for Craig as they go through this once again.
As for this blog....
I LOVE THE HEADER!!!
And the photos are great! Tea parties and Star Wars battles. Doesn't get better than that! Poor Basil. May she is protesting because she is a girl and she doesn't have a pink doghouse!
I can't wait to see the end results of the what you are doing with the book and scissors :)
