Today I am thankful for:
the quiet time with God on a early morning hike with Basil.
the proud moment I had while watching Ashlyn finally, after being afraid all last week and yesterday, dive into the pool at swim lessons and hearing her exclaim "I DID IT!" when she surfaced out of the water with a giant grin!
the proud Mommy moment I had listening to Landon cheer Ashlyn on and give her a "thumbs up" as they passed each other going to and from their swim lessons.
a day when Chris works from home and our whole family is together.
the excitement on my kids' faces when I make them a yummy snack of graham crackers with peanut butter and sliced apples and the way they burst out "they are graham cracker and peanut butter sandwiches! Yay!".
a peaceful afternoon listening to my kids playing and getting along.
the cooler weather and the anticipation of fall.
I know this was random but I can't stop being thankful today. Thank you God for all of the many blessings you consistently shower on us.

You think you're smiling over the small things?.... Imagine how proud of you God is, watching you appreciate the little things in life. :)
It does a mom proud to know that her daughter knows who to thank for the things that money can't buy in a world with so much uncertainty.
